Hi all

I was just wondering if anyone has any examples of functioning performance reports following Pump principles?  I am right at the start of trying to reconstruct reporting in our organisation and would really like to see where people have got to and how it works.  I think it is going to be a long road of drip feeeding to get my organisation round to the Pump way of thinking.

Thanks

Jenny

Hi Jenny,

I've just come back onto here after an absence so apologies for the tardy response.

I am doing the same in my organisation.  A resource that Stacey recommends that I have found invaluable to informing this process is Stephen Few's book 'Information Dashboard Design'.  I have found even though it focuses on dashboards, it gives a sound basis for understanding how people view data and how to present data to communicate rapidly and effectively.

I have redesigned our quarterly performance reports based on some of the principles Stephen addresses, however I think there is still plenty of scope for improvement in the current report (especially with the measures we're reporting, which haven't been through the PuMP process yet.

Kind regards,

Holly Casey
