PuMP Certified: Elise’s story
Elise works in an improvement role in local government in New South Wales, Australia. Elise learned PuMP with Mark Hocknell, our Australasian and Asia Pacific PuMP Partner. And she kindly shared her story about gaining PuMP Certification with us.
Why Elise chose PuMP
Honestly I heard about this training from my colleague and was really looking for something to help untangle my thoughts about performance measurement. I did the assessment at the end leading to my certification because I wanted to check my knowledge. I’m not overly concerned about having a badge.
Elise’s experience with PuMP
The experience has been really useful. The training has really clarified how to develop and use meaningful measures. I have often wondered about how all our reports dashboards etc can feed together. This completely answered that question for me.
What it means to Elise now she has PuMP Certification
It means that I have confidence in my understanding of and a process to support performance measures. It’s great!
